The CS-12 features a Sitka spruce top, laminated mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck and resin fingerboard. It is the classical guitar by Eko Guitars that represents a step forward in the Studio series: it boasts an important choice of woods considering the overall cost of the guitar, it is reliable from a luthier's point of view and gives the guitarist an amazing tone and volume. Electrified via piezo, the CS-12 EQ features the onboard Eko KLT-17A preamplifier, with which it is possible to manage the guitar's volume, equalization via bass, middle and treble controls, phase inversion and tuning via the integrated display tuner, with signal mute function.
